AD/CVD Stacked Duty Calculator
What do antidumping + countervailing cash deposits really add to your landed cost? Match your HTS code and origin, get the combined percentage and the dollars.
Layer 1 — base duty
Your MFN column rate plus trade-remedy layers such as Section 301, entered above.
Layer 2 — AD orders
Antidumping cash-deposit margins from the latest published review per case.
Layer 3 — CVD orders
Countervailable subsidy rates, additive whenever both programs cover the same goods.
Do antidumping and countervailing duties stack?
Yes. When the same product from the same country is covered by both an AD and a CVD order, CBP collects the sum of both cash-deposit rates on each entry. The calculator adds every currently operative order rate covering your HTS subheading and origin, plus the base duty rate you enter.
Which rate applies if a case was reviewed several times?
The most recently published administrative review result sets the current cash-deposit rate for that case. This tool groups every Federal Register action by case number and keeps only the latest published rate, so an older preliminary or final result never inflates the stack.
Is the cash-deposit rate what I finally pay?
Not necessarily. The cash deposit is collected at entry; the final assessed amount is fixed by the annual administrative review and can be higher, lower or zero. Treat the computed figure as the working exposure you must budget for today.
Where do the rates come from?
Every rate line cites its Federal Register document number with a direct link, drawn from the order-lifecycle dataset behind the AD/CVD Duty Screener. Records carry their retrieval timestamp; nothing in the dataset is unsourced.

How this calculator computes the stack
- Your HTS input is normalized to digits and matched bidirectionally against every order's product-scope HTS candidates (an order scoped at heading 7211 covers subheading 7211.13, and a subheading-scoped order likewise covers its parent heading).
- Matching orders are grouped by case number; only the latest published action per case contributes its rate — earlier reviews of the same case are superseded, not summed.
- Each contributing rate is applied to your declared value with half-up cent rounding, then all lines are added: base duty + AD deposits + CVD deposits.
- Cases whose latest action publishes no rate are counted and reported honestly rather than guessed.
