Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between an antidumping and a countervailing duty?

An antidumping (AD) duty offsets goods sold below fair value; a countervailing (CVD) duty offsets subsidies granted by a foreign government. Many orders apply both concurrently, which the listings below mark as AD/CVD.

Why does the same product appear with different rates?

Rates are set per country and often per exporter within a case. Preliminary and final results can differ, so always check the latest action for your specific producer.

How current is this data?

Entries are drawn from US Federal Register notices published between 2026-07-13 to 2026-10-11, with the retrieval timestamp printed on every case. Source URLs let you verify each figure against the original notice.

Is a listed rate what I will pay at the border?

Not necessarily. Published rates feed the cash-deposit requirement for future entries; the final assessment depends on the completed administrative review. Treat these figures as directional and confirm with the underlying notice.

Methodology: records are parsed from the Federal Register documents API (https://www.federalregister.gov/api/v1/documents.json), filtered to antidumping/countervailing proceedings, deduplicated and enriched with case numbers where attributable (phase-1 slice per ADCV-GAP-MEMO sec 4.2; review-type FR bodies may omit HTS subheadings -> hs_refs=[] is honest empty; r…). Rates appear only when a single unambiguous percentage is stated in the notice. This digest is informational and not legal advice.
